These Terms and Conditions govern your use of The Quiet Flames website and the purchase of products through our store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

The Quiet Flames is operated as a curated dropshipping store. Products are fulfilled by third-party suppliers and shipped directly to you.

 

2. Eligibility

By using our website you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are not prohibited from purchasing our products under any applicable law.

 

3. Products

We make every effort to accurately represent our products including descriptions, images, and pricing. However as a dropshipping store, product images and descriptions are partially sourced from our suppliers and may occasionally differ slightly from the physical product received.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct pricing errors at any time without notice.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated. We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and any other payment methods listed at checkout. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider — we do not store your card details.

We reserve the right to cancel any order where a pricing error has occurred. If this happens you will be notified and refunded in full.

 

5. Orders and fulfilment

Once your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. This confirmation does not guarantee fulfilment — in rare cases an item may be out of stock with our supplier. If this occurs we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or alternative product.

Orders are fulfilled by our third-party supplier partners and shipped directly to your address. Processing typically takes 2–5 business days. Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed — see our Shipping Policy for full details.

 

6. Returns and refunds

We want you to love your candles. If you are not satisfied please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on eligibility, process, and timeframes.

In summary:

  • Unopened items may be returned within 14 days of delivery

  • Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days with photo evidence

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of approval

  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect

 

7. Intellectual property

All content on The Quiet Flames website — including our logo, brand name, product copy, photography, and design — is the property of The Quiet Flames and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our written permission.

Product images sourced from suppliers remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

 

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Quiet Flames shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profit.

Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by our third-party suppliers, shipping carriers, customs authorities, or any circumstances outside our reasonable control.

 

9. Candle safety

Our candles are sold for decorative and aromatic use. By purchasing from us you agree to follow all candle safety guidelines including:

  • Never leaving a burning candle unattended

  • Keeping candles away from children, pets, and flammable materials

  • Burning on a stable, heat-resistant surface

  • Trimming the wick to 5mm before each use

  • Discontinuing use when only 10mm of wax remains

The Quiet Flames accepts no liability for damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper use of our products.

 

10. Third-party links and services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services including payment processors, shipping carriers, and marketing tools. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.

12. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
